Our new logo!
I can’t tell you how happy I was that Eve Lloyd Knight agreed to create the Work It Sister logo. I’d spent weeks looking for the right illustrator, and when I saw Eve’s work, I instantly fell in love with it. Interestingly, at first I didn’t realise that much of Eve’s work is based on strong women and equality, so when I delved deeper, I knew it was pure serendipity. I love the new logo and I’m proud to show it off, it’s been fascinating to watch Eve’s creation come to life. Thank you, Eve!
All About Eve Lloyd Knight – An Interview
What do you do in work and life?
I am an illustrator from London, and I love what I do! After university, I worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for three years. I then decided to go freelance and focus on illustration alone. Over the years my focus has been on strong women, equality and nature. I love solving problems and thrive off a strict brief!
In life, I surround myself with as much nature as possible… including my little dog Sid! I love travelling to new landscapes as well staying home and seeing friends. I’m a big believer in mindfulness and yoga. I try to practice every day and keep bringing mindful attention to everyday life.
What exciting things are you working on this year?
I have just released a book called ‘Rebel Voices’ on the global women’s rights movement (which you can find on Amazon and in bookshops all over the world!) and I will be working on the next two in the trilogy, carrying on the activist thread. I have a poster coming soon to the Tate and am working on a big campaign that is a little hush-hush atm!
Is there anything you’re hoping to achieve this year?
All I know is that I want to keep moving and keep striving forwards while appreciating where I am now. Stopping to smell the roses.
What was the last thing you learned?
Sid gets grumpy on a full moon too.
What’s your favourite book? Or a book you can recommend?
Ruby Wax’s ‘Sane New World’ helped me a lot! You can buy Eve’s recommendation here
Where do you go or what do you do to chill out when not working?
Walk the dog or dance all night and drink too much. Depending on my mood.
What’s your favourite thing to do in London?
